Transition Madness

It was a sudden change from black to grey
Clouds forming, immediately breaking
Down from deep within the lies begin
Eternal flame will burn the heir
Trees slowly turning from green to grey
Fruit bearing, immediately falling
Down from where I lie, begging
For the eternal flame to slowly burn me there.
